This majestic Castle stands at the foot of the southern heights of the Piquetberg Mountains and lies amongst the pristine wheat fields, green vines and yellow canola. Built in the late 1890s by George Dunn and believed to be designed by Sir Herbert Baker, Dunn’s Castle offers 8 sunny Victorian style rooms, and can house up to 12 guests. This historic Castle is only available for booking as a whole. It also offers its own private swimming pool with a braai (barbeque) area.
With timeless charm and a peaceful atmosphere, the Castle offers a retreat to guests who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Dunn’s Castle Piketberg is approximately an hour’s drive from Cape Town and half an hour’s drive from the West Coast.

"Stayed at Dunns castle for a week and the service was absolutely amazing. Rooms are extremely clean and had a great stay.
They manage to get me Halaal breakfast and prepped it in an Halaal manner too (separate pan and utensils).
